The Boys season 4 episode 7 featured more easter eggs for fans to take a closer look at. From Kimiko's baby leg to Ryan's big reveal on his own Christmas with the muppets show, check out some of the things you may have missed from the Prime Video superhero series' latest episode.
The Seven's Muppets Join Ryan on His Christmas Show
In Vought's attempt to get Ryan his own Sesame Street-inspired show with The Seven's muppets, the Christmas episode happens to be a propaganda for the muppets to tell kids to "say when they see something" about the leak.
Ryan has been hesitant to agree with the muppet song's message and eventually, calls it off by the end of the episode. He recounts what his mother has always told him to be: truthful.
Fans have noticed the parallel: Homelander was speaking his truth in the previous season and refused to let it go into commercial. This time, however, Ryan chooses to be on the good Supe's side.
Kimiko's Baby Leg Sticks Out After Near-Death Fiasco
While trying to keep their eye on Dr. Sameer, the Supe virus gets to Kimiko's leg. But just before it spreads through her system, Frenchie doesn't hesitate to cut off her leg, leaving her to grow it out again. Pretty similar to how Deadpool grows out his limbs.
Webweaver Finally Makes An Appearance
Remember the Supe disguise Hughie used in the previous episode? Well, episode 7 finally reveals who the owner of the Webweaver suit is, leaving fans horrified.
The parody Spider-Man Supe is clearly nervous about being interrogated by Homelander and Firecrackers. He couldn't stop the webs from popping out behind his... rear (or wherever that was coming from).
Let's just say that was his first and last time on The Boys' set.
THAT Callback Between The Deep and Starlight
Episode 7 also takes fans back to season 1, when The Deep and Starlight first met. He took advantage of the newbie. Starlight exposed him for the terrible thing he did. But now is the time they went on a showdown together.
"First, you tried to cancel me, and victimize an innocent man because I guess that's just cool to do to white guys nowadays," The Deep added, "But the joke's on you. #MeToo's over, sweetheart, it didn't work."
All the while mimicking his own sound effect of the campaign "failing" even in modern times, which fans couldn't take seriously.
Starlight is No Longer with the Boys
It remains to be seen at which part Starlight was replaced in episode 7, but a different Supe took her place. A Supe who could change their identity into anyone they wanted by shedding their skin.
This time, she kept Starlight out of the spotlight and came in. It should have been obvious to Hughie when the "Annie" he thought he knew picked up her suit to "try it on."
She has been avoiding her Supe persona all this time. Why would she start it up again now? It would be intriguing to see how the Boys will discover that this is not the Starlight they know.
Sister Sage Pulled Double Duty on The Deep and Black Noir
As Homelander fired Sister Sage, Black Noir and The Deep returned from the Boys' lair, beaten up.
Just before The Deep can ask Sage for their usual private time together, Black Noir cuts in to say something similar, exposing the fact that Sage has been using both Supes to her own advantage.
The only difference is Sage seemingly trusts The Deep enough to personally lobotomize her before she also uses Black Noir behind the scenes.
