The Acolyte episode 7 finally gives fans a clearer view of what actually happened on planet Brendok when Indara, Sol, Torbin, and Kelnacca went there for their mission. If anything, fans are left betrayed by what Sol did before taking Osha under his wing.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains spoilers for The Acolyte episode 7, so proceed with caution.
The Acolyte Ep 7 Shows the Truth Behind Sol's Visit to Brendok
Master Indara and Sol are looking to investigate the vergence of planet Brendok along with Torbin and Kelnacca.
Initially convinced that the planet was uninhabited, it surprises Sol to suddenly see the existence of the twins, Osha and Mae, residing with a coven of witches.
Worried and concerned for the children's safety, Sol hopes to save both from over 50 witches.
Indara, however, does not feel it is their duty to do so, especially considering how Sol's judgment has been clouded by the idea that he feels a connection to Osha.
"Do not confuse what Osha wants with what you want," Indara warns him. But there wouldn't be any story for The Acolyte if Sol had merely listened. Here comes the doozy part.
Torbin, who desperately wants to return to Coruscant, decides to take his fate into his own hands by charging into the coven. Because of this, Sol was forced to follow him and bring him back.
Instead, they both end up confronting Mother Aniseya to bring the twins on their ship. While fans know Aniseya has no ill intention towards them and wants Osha to join the Jedi, Sol and Torbin do not.
Sol ends up killing Aniseya by putting his lightsaber through her stomach. By the time Aniseya revealed that she plans on letting Osha go, it was too late for them to take back what happened.
Remember the scene where Osha and Mae were separated in the coven? As much as Sol tries to save both twins, he chooses Osha, with Mae seemingly falling to her death.
Unfortunately, Osha did not know the whole story. So, Sol took the opportunity to spark up a lie that it was Mae who started the fire in the coven, and the rest was history.
