The Glory is a K-drama on Netflix that follows Moon Dong-Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo) as she enacts an 18-year-old plan to seek revenge from her high school bullies.

The show was separated into two with the first part getting released in December 2022 and the second part following in March 2023. The first part was a slow plot as it introduced the different characters in the story. So when The Glory 2 came out, people can't help but wonder if Moon Dong-Eun gets her revenge in the end.

The short answer to this is: yes. But it's not of her own doing. She simply "motivated" each of her bullies to act on their own actions and face the consequences-- something that should have been done years ago.

If you want to know what happens to the characters, they truly get what they deserved in the show; which is so satisfying for avid fans to watch. Here's a runthrough of what happened to the bullies and those who helped Dong-Eun get her revenge:

Yeon-Jin

Let's start with the main antagonist of the show: Park Yeon-Jin (played by Lim Ji-Yeon).

After a seemingly perfect life, the tables have turned on her with the entry of Dong-Eun. For 18 years, Dong-Eun plotted her revenge on Yeon-Jin, even planning to kill her and then take her life. But as circumstances took place, it turns out that Yeon-Jin murdered one of her own allies in order to protect her reputation.

In The Glory 2, we finally learned what happened to Son Myeong-O (played by Kim Gun-Woo). Even though Yeon-Jin was the one who beat Myeong-O to death, it wasn't her who gave the final blow. A key character in the show was the one who hit Myeong-O one time before he finally succumbed to his death. But Dong-Eun made sure that Yeon-Jin would be the one to go to prison for the crime, especially since it's her second time to kill someone.

In addition to putting Yeon-Jin to jail, Dong-Eun had her go through her mother's betrayal-- something that she experienced with her own mother thanks to Yeon-Jin and her own mother, Hong Yeong-Ae (played by Yoon Da-Kyung). And when she passes by her mother in prison, the latter pretends not to know her.

After trying to stand by her side until she apologized for her mistake in the past, Ha Do-Young (played by Jung Sung-Il) decided to divorce Yeon-Jin and take his daughter away too. In the end, Yeon-Jin is all alone in prison and somewhat becomes crazy.

Spoilt Jeon Jae-Jun (played by Park Sung-Hoon) was also among those who met a terrible fate in the ending of The Glory 2. After using people for his own gain, he finally manages to get a taste of his own medicine thanks to Choi Hye-Jeong (played by Cha Joo-Young), who he has been using for sex all this time.

When Hye-Jeong lost her voice due to a fight with Lee Sa-Ra (played by Kim Hieora), Jae-Jun decides to leave her while she is in the hospital. This allows Hye-Jeong to be visited by Dong-Eun and given an advice about Jae-Jun's glaucoma. Once Hye-Jeong is able to leave the hospital, she collects her belongings at his house and switches his eye drops to something else.

After discovering Do-Young has taken his biological daughter away from him, Jae-Jun drives in a rage but suddenly loses his eyesight. He gets hit by a cement truck and gets all bloodied from the incident. But that's not all, we later see him running to a construction site where he gets pushed by Do-Young to a long distance. Jae-Jun falls into liquid cement, where he ultimately meets his doom in a long and painful death.

After teasing Sa-Ra about her sextape with Myeong-O, Hye-Jeong gets stabbed in the neck with a pencil. This leads her to get hospitalized and is told she may never get her voice back.

While in the hospital, Jae-Jun breaks up with her. She gets a visit from Dong-Eun, who allows her to get her revenge from Jae-Jun.

This is the last we see of Hye-Jeong. Although she is still alive, she may have lost her voice permanently. But still, she is the only one who's left alive and not in prison.

Sa-Ra

Sa-Ra gets exposed as a drug addict while her father is holding service. Since she is a first time offender, she doesn't get a heavy penalty. But while in prison, a new story is leaked to the press implicating Sa-Ra and her father for tax evasion. She plans to take down Yeon-Jin with her and posts old videos of Yeon-Jin as she bullies Yoon So-Hee (played by Lee So-E) before she is killed.

At Myeong-O's funeral, Hye-Jeong teases Sa-Ra of a sextape that Myeong-O secretly recorded. This angers Sa-Ra, who takes out a pencil from her hair and stabs Hye-Jeong in the neck. Sa-Ra is arrested on the spot for attempted murder.

Myeong-O

After agreeing to help Dong-Eun in the first part of The Glory, Myeong-O suddenly disappears without a trace. Throughout the show, we learn that he tried to blackmail his "friends" before planning to leave the country.

Unfortunately, his meeting with Yeon-Jin doesn't go according to his plans. He angers Yeon-Jin, who hits him in the head several times with a thick champagne bottle. He ends up bloodied on the fitting room floor of Jae-Jun's store, Siesta. Yeon-Jin's connections with the police later take care of his corpse and stores it in an abandoned morgue.

Dong-Eun learns of this from her spy, Kang Hyeon-Nam (played by Yum Hye-Ran), and she connives with Dr. Joo Yeo-Jeong (played by Lee Do-Hyun) to purchase the morgue. They find the body there and plant evidence taken from Yeon-Jin's skin while she gets a procedure from Yeo-Jeong. When they're done, their hired men dump Myeong-O's body in the abandoned building where So-Hee was found dead in the past.

Police are able to find Yeon-Jin's DNA oin Myeong-O's fingernails, which match the DNA found on the lighter found in So-Hee's crime scene. This implicates Yeon-Jin for double murder.

While it is so satisfying to learn that Dong-Eun was able to get her revenge, The Glory also introduced us to some very lovable characters. And while this may likely be the last we'll see of these characters, we'd like to know what happened to those who helped Dong-Eun.

Yeo-Jeong

Yeo-Jeong got the biggest reward of all: Dong-Eun. As he pledged to be Dong-Eun's executioner in the first part of the show, we learn that he has some dark secrets of his own.

At first, it was implied that he would be killing someone when the show returns. But when The Glory 2 started, it was revealed that Yeo-Jeong didn't need to kill anyone.

Throughout the show, however, we learn that Yeo-Jeong was being tormented by his father's killer, Kang Yeong-Cheon (played by Lee Mu-Saeng). This leads Yeo-Jeong to apply as the jail doctor for Cheongsong Prison but he fails to get in because of his connection with Yeong-Cheon.

After helping Dong-Eun, he discovers that she has left him all alone to try and jump off the same building where So-Hee died. This was Dong-Eun's plan all along. But Yeo-Jeong's mother learns of Dong-Eun's past and manages to stop her before she could jump. She pleads to help Yeo-Jeong this time and this convinces Dong-Eun to return to Yeo-Jeong six months later.

Dong-Eun tells Yeo-Jeong that he needs the help of someone who was an expert at getting revenge. This leads the two to plot their revenge against Yeong-Cheon by getting him in trouble and letting him be transferred to a different prison where (surprise, surprise) Yeo-Jeong works. He promises a painful torture for the psychopath as revenge for everything he did.

Dong-Eun also works in the same prison as a speaker to help those who are getting a new chance at life. In the last scene of the show, the two enter the prison grounds and say "I love you" to one another.

Do-Young

After meeting Dong-Eun in the first part of The Glory, many fans speculated that there would be a love triangle between Do-Young and Yeo-Jeong. Fans also wondered how Do-Young would react once he knew the truth about his seemingly perfect wife, Yeon-Jin.

But as we see in The Glory 2, Do-Young is a pretty straightforward, family guy who would do what he can to protect his loved ones. Even though he gets intrigued by Dong-Eun, he stands by his wife's side in the hope that she will apologize for her past actions.

He does, however, have a conscience and tries to let Yeon-Jin handle her own matters. But when he discovers his wife has been cheating on him, he loses any interest in helping her. All he has left is their daughter, Ha Ye-Sol (played by Oh Ji-Yul), who he loves even though he learns she is actually Jae-Jun's daughter. Still, this fact doesn't change how he sees his daughter and he decides he will fight for her until the end-- even if that means murdering Jae-Jun to get full custody of his daughter.

After divorcing his wife in prison and pushing Jae-Jun into liquid cement, Do-Young and Ye-Sol leave for Europe together.

Kang Hyeon-Nam

And finally, we have a happy ending for fan-favorite Hyeon-Nam, aka Dong-Eun's spy.

In the first part of the show, we were wary of Hyeon-Nam since she met Dong-Eun while the latter was spying on Yeon-Jin. She decides to help Dong-Eun in the condition that she kills her abusive husband, Lee Seok-Jae (played by Ryoo Sung-Hyun).

Throughout the show, however, her loyalty stays with Dong-Eun, even when she was discovered by Yeon-Jin and repeatedly hit and threatened. Dong-Eun repays her loyalty by helping Hyeon-Nam's daughter, Lee Sun-A (played by Choi Soo-In) escape her predicament and being targeted by Yeon-Jin. Although there is a point when Hyeon-Nam helps Yeon-Jin, it is in the premise that Dong-Eun has set her up for it.

The show has a huge twist for Hyeon-Nam too. Even though Dong-Eun promises she will kill her husband for her, she doesn't do the job herself. Together with Hyeon-Nam, they set up Yeon-Jin's mother to "kill" her husband by hitting her in the middle of the road. This is after he blackmails her after knowing her daughter's secrets.

Hyeon-Nam gets approached by Yeon-Jin, who learns what happened. This time around, however, Hyeon-Nam uses the fruits of her sleuthing to blackmail Yeon-Jin. She manages to slap Yeon-Jin a couple of times and tells her that she has some photos she does not want the public or her family to see. This gives her the upper hand over Yeon-Jin, who has since been threatening to expose her murder plan with Dong-Eun and to harm her own daughter. Hyeon-Nam decides not to settle with Yeong-Ae for hitting her husband so she gets imprisoned for manslaughter.

After meeting with Dong-Eun one last time, Dong-Eun tells her she prays they will never see each other again. This leads Hyeon-Nam to live a quiet life in the end, where she has put up a small cafe of her own. She receives an anonymous text one day that asks for her help as an assistant. Hyeon-Nam scrambles to pick up her belongings and lock up her store before rushing off to assumably meet Dong-Eun for another job, which is to help Yeo-Jeong seek his revenge.

And that's all that happened to the main cast of The Glory. We're hoping the show will get another season, but it's unlikely to happen since everyone was able to get a happy end.

The Glory 2 is now available to stream on Netflix.
