There's a confirmed Deadpool and Wolverine post-credit scene, alright, but it's not the kind that teases the next MCU flick to look out for. Instead, it pokes fun at an original MCU star, showcasing the 'squeaky clean' actor in a vulgar light.

Deadpool 3 Hilariously Shows [SPOILERS] Spitting F-Bombs Left and Right

The Merc with the Mouth stayed true to his name when he told off a dirty secret that a classic Avengers character badmouthed Cassandra Nova behind her back.

When Deadpool and Wolverine got captured, the Merc claimed that Johnny Storm aka Human Torch (yes, Chris Evans reprised the role) called the villainess a "megalomaniacal psychotic assh*le" who can "lick my g*ddamn cinnamon ring clean and kick rocks all the way to bald hell." Essentially, making fun of Cassandra's hairless appearance.

Johnny, in the scene, rebutts that he doesn't know a thing about what Deadpool just said. Unfortunately, Cassandra still rips off Johnny's skin and kills him on the spot. The catch? Turns out, the Merc was telling the truth all along.

The post-credit scene cleared Deadpool's name when it showed the footage of Johnny actually saying those things behind Cassandra's back.

According to Johnny, he "doesn't give a sh*t" if Cassandra ends up "removing all my skin and pops me like some nightmarish blood balloon", adding that he "still won't die happy" and Wade Wilson (Deadpool) can quote him on that, along with the rattling f-bombing the Human Torch did right after.

Chris Evans' Captain America has always been known to be the type to scold his fellow Avengers team whenever they said anything close to cursing, which led to his iconic line, "Language!"

The post-credit scene fully pokes fun at that, to witness the Cap in a different light (and role) in this multiversal threequel.

The post-credit scene essentially proved two things: trust that the Merc with the Mouth is going to take your word literally to save himself and that Chris Evans' goody-two-shoes image has now vanished into thin air in the franchise.
