Ryan Reynolds has seemingly teased his potential return as Deadpool in Avengers: Doomsday in a recent social media post.
Fans have been wondering whether the Merc with a Mouth will be making an appearance in the upcoming Avengers movies. After all, with the multiversal aspect of the story and the confirmed return of the Fox X-Men actors, it paves the way for the possibility of Deadpool's appearance and finally team-up with the main MCU heroes.
Is Ryan Reynolds Teasing His Avengers: Doomsday Appearance?
In his recent post on Instagram, Reynolds posted a photo of the Avengers logo with an "A" graffiti over it, similar to what was featured in Deadpool & Wolverine.
He did not provide any caption or context on why he posted the photo on his social media feed out of nowhere.

As a result of this mysterious post, fans have been wondering whether Reynolds is teasing his return as Deadpool in Avengers: Doomsday, which is currently in production.
While Marvel Studios has not confirmed Deadpool's appearance in Doomsday, it is already known that the majority of the MCU heroes and several Fox X-Men characters are expected to be part of the film. There have been rumors for a while that Marvel will unveil more cast members soon.
It remains to be seen whether Reynolds will do more teases or follow up on that post very soon, but fans are now anticipating more potential news on Doomsday and the possibility of Deadpool's appearance.
What is the Future of Deadpool in the MCU?
So far, Marvel Studios has not set a concrete plan for Deadpool's future in the MCU.
When Reynolds was asked about his potential return in the MCU after the massive success of Deadpool & Wolverine, he had "no idea" at that time what was next for the character.
"I would say that Shawn [Levy] and I have been pretty clear, I think, in the most loving way, because talk about the greatest uptown problem any human beings could have is a studio like that saying, ‘What’s next?’ Or ‘How can we make something else?’" he said.
"But this movie was made as a complete experience. It wasn’t meant to be a commercial for another movie. It wasn’t meant to be any of that stuff. And, I think I get a great deal of joy making a movie like that."
Reynolds continued, "But honestly, right in this moment, I have no idea if I’ll ever wear that Deadpool suit again — I hope I do — but I don’t know. Right now’s the time to just kind of hang it up for a bit and see what happens next."
Last month, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also teased that they have been in talks with Reynolds for potential Avengers appearances.
"There absolutely have been discussions. We're in touch with Ryan a lot. So the answer is yes," he said.
