On the Merc with the Mouth's exploration by jumping through the hoops of the Marvel Multiverse, he encounters one particular canon comic book scene that involves the Avengers vs. the X-Men.

Marvel fans would be surprised to know that Chris Evans is not the only original Avenger who graced the big screens with his cameo, but even everyone's favorite giant green hero, the Hulk.

During Deadpool's multiverse-hopping skit, he ends up crossing paths with the Brown-suited version of Wolverine (from Uncanny X-Men #139) fighting off the Hulk. The Merc ended up interrupting their little square-off for a few seconds in theatres.

The scene resembles a classic issue from The Incredible Hulk that introduces Wolverine. Specifically, in issue #180, before the Green Goliath ends up fighting off the clawed mutant in #181.

While it's not exactly an all-throughout fight between the Avengers vs the entire X-Men team (like what happened in Captain America: Civil War), fans undoubtedly consider this an unforgettable cinematic experience of colliding two heroes on this multiversal adventure.

These variants will likely come in handy if Marvel Studios is planning on yet another huge collab of weaving the Multiverse once and for all.

Seeing as Hugh Jackman had not only returned to sport his iconic yellow suit, there's a chance he and the rest of the upcoming X-Men team would reunite on the big screens sometime in the future.
