“Look, I mean, I think from where we left everything off last season, they have a really big job ahead of them,” Woll explained to The Direct. “And I think, you know, Matt and Karen are both loners, so they are pretty much the only other person that the other one has left.”
Rather than focusing on romance, fans are set to witness the two supporting each other, especially now that Foggy (Elden Henson) is no longer by their side. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that nothing will develop between them.
“And so I think there’s a dependence and a reliance and a support of one another that will be interesting to see how that plays out,” she continued.
What’s in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Trailer?
Marvel has dropped a new trailer for Daredevil Season 2, giving fans a glimpse of Matt’s next chapter in the MCU.
However, while Matt continues his work as the famous vigilante of Hell’s Kitchen, he is also on the run after Mayor Fisk declared martial law and enforced an anti-vigilante decree.
With that in place, fans are set to see the Anti-Vigilante Task Force in full action as they go up against crime-fighters across New York.
The trailer shows Matt and Kingpin together, alongside Karen. It also confirms the return of Tony Dalton as Jack Duquesne from Hawkeye following his appearance in the first season.
Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye is also featured, giving fans a clearer look at his costume from Season 1.
Meanwhile, although Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) will not appear in Season 2, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) finally appears with Matt, and the two are seen hanging out in Punisher’s hideout.
