Star Wars: The Acolyte is almost here, and Lucasfilm is whipping up excitement by dropping new character posters and profiles for the main cast. The posters not only give the latest information about the Jedi from the High Republic Era but also contain Easter eggs that fans may have missed from the first look.

About a week before The Acolyte premieres, Lucasfilm drops character posters for Jedi Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae), Jedi Master Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss), Mae (Amandla Stenberg), Jedi Master Kelnacca (Joonas Suotamo), and Jecki Lon (Dafne Keen).

These new key art pieces give us a new look at the show's central characters, especially their blue and green lightsabers.

Their profiles, however, provide great insight into their identities, revealing how they connect.

So, here are the Easter eggs and one glaring clue in a previous poster viewers may have missed.

Jedi Master Sol

As the poster describes, Sol is a wise and highly respected Jedi Master.

But despite his strong command of the Force and his still and stalwart nature, his character description reveals that he always has to keep his emotions in check.

Sure, his profile claims that he uses his Jedi training to balance his intense emotions. But this is unusual for a Jedi Master, hinting that he doesn’t wholly embody balance.

That said, something may have happened in his past that affects him to this day, and fans are about to learn it in The Acolyte.

Jedi Master Indara

Like Sol, Indara is a Jedi Master with excellent physical and mental skills. She is also very skilful in using force abilities, and her presence is enough to intimidate others.

Though she and Sol are somehow alike, they differ in one thing: Indara can control her emotions more than Sol.

The post hints that she uses her Force powers more than her lightsaber skills, which the trailers prove true.

Mae

Mae is described as a mysterious young woman with a tragic past. Indeed, she’s one of the most enigmatic characters in The Acolyte.

The post also reveals her involvement in a "sinister mystery," which puts her in the middle of a huge conflict.

It also mentions “vengeance” and “those who wronged her,” leaving her backstory vague and keeping her allegiance under wraps.

It remains to be seen if Mae is behind the series of Jedi killings. Fans will need to wait and see if she belongs to the light or the dark side of the Force.

Jecki Lon

Jecki is a skilled Padawan apprentice of Sol. Despite her young age, she’s calm and mature, and she uses these to her advantage as she prepares to become a Jedi knight.

With her maturity and calmness, she seems to be in control of her emotions compared to her Jedi Master.

That said, The Acolyte may feature a perfect pairing between the two, as Sol may learn a thing or two from his apprentice.

Jedi Master Kelnacca

Despite being a Jedi Master, Kelnacca is described as a loner, living a solitary life after isolating himself in the jungles of Khofar.

Kelnacca’s character description leaves viewers with many questions. What forces him to isolation and how his story will fit in The Acolyte remain to be seen.

It’s also unknown whether he will join his fellow Jedi Masters in fighting the mysterious Sith Lord and finding the enigmatic Jedi killer.

Interestingly, despite being a Jedi Master, he doesn’t possess a lightsaber.

The Acolyte Poster

Recently, Lucasfilm dropped new key art for The Acolyte. This one closely examines the series’ main cast alongside the mysterious Sith Lord.

But if there’s one thing fans instantly notice, it’s the two images of Mae.

Though they look alike, the one on the left wears a mask and a hood, while the one on the opposite side shows her face.

This gives credence to theories that Mae has a twin sister.

The removed subtitle of one of the series’ trailers showed Stenberg’s character being named “Osha” instead of Mae.

There are beliefs that Sol trained Osha, while the Sith probably trained Mae and is the supposed Jedi killer.

Showrunner Leslye Headland later confirms the claim, revealing in an interview with Good Morning America that The Acolyte will unravel the mystery between the twin sisters Osha and Mae.

The Acolyte’s new posters prove these five characters will be the series' core.

Several other characters have been introduced, like Vernestra Rwoh (Rebecca Henderson) and Mother Aniseya (Jodie Turner-Smith). However, they aren’t part of these new posters, hinting they’re probably secondary characters.

The hints that come with these posters make the upcoming show and the characters even more intriguing. The Acolyte’s two-episode premiere will be released on Disney+ on June 4.
