Within the first two episodes of The Acolyte, Mae had already executed two Jedi Masters out of four. But who else is on Mae's hit list on The Acolyte?
Considering that all we've ever heard from her is that she has to prove her strength and power to the anonymous "him", why would she choose these four specific Jedi as her targets? Here's what the new Star Wars series shows.

Why is Mae on the Hunt for the Jedi?
Episode 2 titled Revenge / Justice reveals that Mae (played by Amandla Stenberg) is on the hunt for the Jedi as a part of her revenge story.
However, as previously mentioned, she is following the rules behind her killing spree which is to hunt down four Jedi.
The only catch here is that she would have to kill one of these four without a weapon, which she has failed to do so far.
Considering that The Acolyte has yet to tell who the new master she serves is, the most we can deduce comes from the Sith Lord briefly shown in the finale of episode 1. So, who exactly are the four Jedi included on Mae's kill list, anyway? Why these specific masters?

The Four Jedi Masters on Mae's Hit List Explained
According to the first two episodes, Mae's targets include Master Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss) whom she killed with a thrown knife, Master Torbin (Dean-Charles Chapman) whom she poisoned, Master Kelnacca (Joonas Suotamo), and Master Sol (Lee Jung-Jae).
The Acolyte trailer pretty much confirms why Jedi Master Sol would be one of the included Jedi on her list. She shares a past with him for being his former apprentice.
Plus, as Sol confronts her in the second episode, Mae blames him for the demise of her twin sister, Osha. Despite being told that her sister still lives, Mae refuses to back down and still keeps him on her list.
Mae knows that these were the four Jedi Masters who were stationed on her home planet during her childhood, specifically on the day her family and house burned. What remains to be seen is whether these Jedi were involved in that matter.
For now, her reason is solely to prove her worth to the higher Master on the Dark Side, instead of having the Jedi on her tail, especially since The Acolyte has been sprinkling clues that not every Jedi in sight has uncorrupt intentions.
Meanwhile, Star Wars: The Acolyte episode 3 airs on Disney+ on June 11, 2024.
