South Park season 27 has released a new promo for their latest episode next week and teased that they will explore more of Donald Trump and Satan's relationship.

The hit series made waves when the new season premiered last week, as they poked fun at the US President. They depicted him as a character who is insecure with his small "manhood" and in bed with Satan. Fans are wondering whether they will double down on poking fun at Trump in the rest of the season, especially after the White House expressed outrage over the premiere episode.

Is the Next South Park Episode Poking Fun Again at Trump?

Comedy Central announced that the next episode of South Park season 27 will be released next week on August 6, instead of the expected release this week.

They also released a promo teasing what fans should expect on the next episode, including what seems to be a parody of podcaster Charlie Kirk (through Cartman) and ICE's controversial crackdown against immigrants.

Not only that, they also confirmed that they will continue poking fun at Trump and explore his relationship with Satan, as they showed the US President flirting with Satan at a black-tie dinner party. However, Satan stopped him.

While this might sound like the new episode's release was delayed, Deadline confirmed that the brief hiatus was pre-planned, and an encore of the premiere episode will air instead this week.

The promo confirmed that creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are doubling down on poking fun at Trump, and they have no plans to refrain anytime soon for the rest of the season's 10-episode run.

What Does the White House Think of South Parody's Trump Parody?

As expected, the White House expressed outrage over the show's creative choice to poke fun at Trump in the season 27 premiere episode last week.

White House Assistant Press Secretary Taylor Rogers issued a statement on behalf of Trump in response to the show's jab against him.

"The Left's hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as 'offense' content, but suddenly they are praising the show. Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows," she said.

"This show hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention. President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country's history — and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump's hot streak."

Parker gave a sarcastic response at San Diego Comic-Con last week in response to the backlash against the episode. "We’re terribly sorry," he said in a deadpan manner.
