South Park went all-out on skewering US President Donald Trump in their highly anticipated season 27 premiere episode last night.
The hit show's parent company, Paramount, has been in the headlines for the last few weeks due to its impending merger with Skydance, the decision to settle the lawsuit with Trump, and CBS's cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Fans have been wondering whether the show will take aim at the issues surrounding their parent company and the president.
How Did South Park Skewer Donald Trump in the Season 27 Premiere?

In the season 27 premiere episode titled "Sermon on the ‘Mount," South Park pokes fun at their parent company, Paramount, and Trump as they've been making headlines in the last few days.
Using his real photograph to depict the character, the episode featured Trump being insecure about his manhood after seeing that it is portrayed as small in the official painting in the White House.
Later on, Trump was seen in bed with Satan, who also rejected him for having a small manhood and asked him whether he was indeed part of the Epstein list.
The episode also poked fun at Paramount's settlement with Trump in the 60 Minutes lawsuit by exploring a storyline where PC Principal brought Jesus to South Park Elementary School to save the kids from "wokeness."
However, when the parents and other townsfolk at South Park complained, Jesus threatened that they should just settle and accept his presence, or they would get canceled, similar to what happened with Stephen Colbert.
The episode ended with a fake PSA with a CGI Trump that had "pro-Trump messaging," but it was actually poking fun at his manhood as well.
What is the Future of South Park?
The season 27 premiere episode aired just hours after creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a new five-year overall deal with Paramount.
The deal is reportedly worth around $1.5 billion, which includes five more seasons of South Park (10 episodes each) for the next few years and all 26 previous seasons being available on Paramount+.
"We are grateful for this opportunity and deeply honored by the trust placed in us. This is about more than a contract — it’s about our commitment to this organization, our teammates, and our fans," Parker said in a statement, which skewers a popular sports-cliche joke.
"We’re focused on building something special and doing whatever it takes to bring championships to this city."
