During the recently-aired fifth episode, it was revealed that Qimir is the mysterious Sith Lord. While the twist might not be surprising, it was still an effective revelation as it changed the stakes of the story moving forward.

While most of them have predicted him as the identity of the villain, the reveal was still praised and it helps that it happened during an awesome lightsaber battle sequence that is considered to be one of the franchise's best.
Qimir, played by The Good Place star Manny Jacinto, was initially introduced as a smuggler who accompanies Mae on her mission. As it turns out, it was all a disguise.
While the character is now revealed to be in the dark side, some fans still have a crush on him due to his physical attractiveness and joked they are willing to look past his ruthless personality.
It is similar to Adam Driver's Kylo Ren in the sequel trilogy and Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker in the prequel trilogy where fans also have a crush on them even if they're on the dark side.
