The Acolyte Episode 5 Reveals the Sith Lord's Identity
The recently-aired episode 5 of The Acolyte featured an extended lightsaber action sequence between the Sith Lord, Mae, and the Jedis, continuing from the cliffhanger in the previous episode.
It was revealed that Qimir is indeed the identity behind Mae's mysterious Lord. The moment happened when he stabbed Jecki in her chest with a lightsaber.
While holding Mae hostage, Qimir explained to Sol that he wanted freedom to wield his powers without the Jedi's knowledge and take his own acolyte.
However, when Mae decided to curb the plan and expose him, he decided to kill every single last of them.
Since the fourth episode aired last week, most fans have guessed that Qimir might be the mysterious Sith Lord given the timing of his appearance during the final moments and the clues that were given during Mae and Qimir's conversations while trailing in Khofar.
While we finally have the Sith Lord's identity revealed, it still opens up a lot of questions about Qimir's motivation on why he wants to wield his powers without the Jedi oversight and what is his actual mission as a Sith.
