Netflix has released the first trailer for the Sam Raimi-produced Nightbooks, the film adaptation of J.A. White's 2018 novel about kids who have to feed a fiendish witch's lust for scary stories.

Directed by David Yarovesky, with a script from Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis, Nightbooks stars Winslow Fegley as Alex, Lidya Jewett as Yazmin, and Krysten Ritter as the evil witch Natacha.
The trailer gives us our first look at the magical apartment in New York City where Alex and Yazmin are imprisoned. The apartment can travel around the world and has a room that could hold anything, including deadly creatures.
The film looks like a fun family-friendly horror film with a unique story. Ritter is fitting for her role as the witch, and it's nice to see her back after her run in Jessica Jones, The Defenders, and Breaking Bad.
