To the surprise of many, Marvel's best comic right now isn't Avengers, Thor, or Iron Man but Al Ewing's Immortal Hulk. The concept - Hulk being unable to die - was an odd one at first but it kept getting better as more issues came out. It even did the impossible and outsold Batman, which is pretty big. When reading the September solicitations, it seemed like the series would be ending, saddening some fans.
Well, Ewing himself has confirmed that this isn't the case, claiming that more issues are already planned and covers for Immortal Hulk #26 and beyond are on the way. It was good of Ewing to respond quickly to the rumors since that means even more Immortal Hulk, the best and weirdest comic in stands today.
It looks like fans are going to have to wait a bit if they ever want Hulk to feel "incredible" again. That being said, it seems like there is no other Marvel comic that has the size and scope of recent issues. And you thought only Donny Cates was writing some edgy Marvel comics.
Marvel's Immortal Hulk will not end anytime soon, with more issues scheduled for release. It will be interesting to see how many issues this series ends up lasting.
