How Old are Carmy, Claire, Sydney, & Richie in The Bear Season 3?
The original screenplay for The Bear's pilot episode indicates that Carmy Berzatto (played by 33-year-old actor Jeremy Allen White) was 25 years old at the beginning of the series.
He turned 26 by season 2, which could mean he could be around his late twenties once The Bear season 3 reveals the timeline gap since we last saw him.
His ex-girlfriend, Claire (portrayed by 28-year-old actress Molly Gordon), is presumed to be around the same age since they had freshman Algebra together. By season 2, she was finishing up her Med School residency.
The young sous-chef Sydney Adamu (played by 28-year-old actress Ayo Edebiri) is likely younger than Carmy and Claire. While the series does not state how old she is, we can surmise based on what the show has revealed so far.
Sydney had an undergraduate degree from the Culinary Institute of America and then ran a food truck business before joining The Beef.
Considering that undergraduate programs usually take around 3 years to complete, Sydney may be aged between 22-24 in season 1, and around 23-25 in season 2. Hopefully, the third season clears things up.
Richie Jerimovic (portrayed by 47-year-old actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach), on the other hand, stated that he's 45 years old in The Bear season 2 episode 7 titled Forks, where he realizes his crucial role in the restaurant.

Where The Bear Season 3 is Heading Towards
Carmy, Sydney, and Richie will return in The Bear season 3 to continue trying their all in elevating their restaurant and their business smoothly running.
With higher stakes introduced for what's to come upon opening the new restaurant, Carmy has to give it his best shot to make sure their establishment is kept afloat at all times.
According to the official synopsis, Carmy sees to it that he "pushes himself harder than ever" to "demand excellence from his crew" who must "match his intensity" every step of the way to keep the business going.

The Bear season 3 will premiere all 10 episodes on June 27, 2024, on Hulu, and is also set to make its Disney+ debut on the same day.
