The once Original Beef in Chicagoland is about to return to Hulu this year, and fans wonder when to expect the official release date for The Bear season 3. Well, here is everything you need to know about its comeback!
Running the newly launched restaurant, The Bear, is not as easy as Carmy thought it would be. Despite closing down The Beef to enter a new era with his existing crew, Carmy and Syd are forced upon a new entry to make sure their business runs smoothly.
The Bear Season 3 Official Release Date Revealed
The Bear season 2 premiered on June 22, 2023. By November of the same year, the show had already been greenlit for a third season with production beginning in late February 2024.
Fans won't have to wait so long anymore now that The Bear season 3 released a short teaser on May 9 featuring the return of Jeremy Allen White as Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richard 'Richie' Jerimovich.
According to the teaser, FX's The Bear season 3 jumps on Hulu on June 27, 2024!
How Many Episodes Will Be in The Bear Season 3?
The Bear season 1 consisted of 8 episodes, and season 2 released 10. Meanwhile, The Bear season 3 will launch 10 episodes — all of which will be available to stream on its premiere date.
Considering that TV series nowadays tend to release their episodes every week, FX boss John Landgraf explained during an executive session at tCA that the decision to air all episodes at once per season came from learning that "rolling it out over weeks" would be a "rotten thing to do" to the audience.
"The way that [co-showrunner] Christopher [Storer] makes it, even though the episodes are separate, there's a whole vibe to every season," Landgraf added, "So we decided not to change what we had already set in motion."
Overall, Landgraf assured fans that they "will keep doing" what they had done in previous seasons.
The Bear Season 3 Potential Storyline
The James Beard Award-winning chef failed to attend the soft launch of his new restaurant called The Bear. While being trapped in the fridge on the opening night implies red flags on his future plans, season 3 shows that this only propels him forward.
According to the official synopsis, Carmy sees to it that he "pushes himself harder than ever" to "demand excellence from his crew" who must "match his intensity" every step of the way to keep the business going.
While fans have their own expectations of what season 3 could behold, Carmy actor Jeremy Allen White previously shared that he would want to see Carmy apologize to Claire, hoping that "there's some version of that" when he reads the scripts.
