As casting calls for Max's divisive Harry Potter reboot, fans are wondering who could be the perfect successor to Daniel Radcliffe's performance as the titular The Boy Who Lived.
Well, there are a couple of actors fans are convinced could deliver the same balance of embodying the nerdy-looking Gryffindor hero.
Christian Convery
Christian Convery, who is best known for playing the Sweet Tooth starring role on Netflix, is one of the topmost recommended actors to hail the wizard's role in Hogwarts.
Born on November 10, 2009, the 14-year-old also had his share in the industry by starring in Netflix's One Piece as Young Sanji, voicing Fregley in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid animation, and even joining Disney's Descendants 3 as Squeaky.
Ian Dolley
At the young age of 8, Ian Dolley shined on stage when he landed the role of young Simba in The Lion King.
He made his film debut in 2022, where he starred as the 1800s London Boy in Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell's Spirited flick, and later on as Alex Ollerman in The Holdovers.
If he doesn't land Harry Potter, he could do justice by taking Rupert Grint's Ronald Weasley role, at least for being the goofy redhead boy he could potentially portray in the series.
Judah Prehn
Another 14-year-old candidate who could play Harry Potter is Judah Prehn, who is best known for Resident Alien, Kinderwood, and Mythic Quest.
Put a pair of round glasses on and a scar on his forehead and he might be a shoo-in. That is if he can also play Quidditch and become the superstar Harry Potter rose to be in the original franchise.
Toby Woolf
Known for starring in more mature roles in Pistol, Summer of Rockets, and Rare Beasts, this young actor, Toby Woolf, might just be up to the task, if given the chance.
If anything, giving him the platform could let him surprise the industry of the range he could do to portray the main character.
Keivonn Woodard
Considering that the Harry Potter reboot is choosing diversity for the upcoming series reboot, Keivonn Woodard is one of the rising child actors since his performance in The Last of Us as Sam Burrell.
Despite the short appearance of Sam and his brother, Henry, they made an impact on Ellie and Joel's lives. Keivonn didn't let his disability hinder him from embodying Sam, how different could it be to be the Harry Potter in the reboot?
If There Was No Age Limit in the Harry Potter Reboot
Iain Armitage, Noah Schnapp, and Walker Scobell are a few of the top fan cast actors who could resemble the original Daniel Radcliffe if they had been the right age.
Given their performances in Young Sheldon, Stranger Things, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians, who wouldn't be interested in having them lead yet another larger franchise in Hollywood?
Then again, apart from being too old for the 9-11 age range, Armitage may be better to take on a different role in the series, Noah Schnapp is still under fire for his controversial takes, and Walker Scobell is likely committed to being Percy Jackson in Rick Riordan's remake.
