Who wouldn't want to join major Hollywood franchises at this point? Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell is no exception, as he admittedly has a 'wild' pitch for DC's Batman. Once he gets the call, that is.

"You know, I've never gotten a call from DC or Marvel, but I'm a fan of everything they do," the Twisters star recently shared on The Playlist, adding that he 'had a freaking blast' watching Deadpool & Wolverine, "[It was] extraordinary and just such a fun flavor for audiences."

Still, despite waiting for that phone call, he also doesn't leave DC Studios in the shadows, considering he's a big fan of both comic book and movie franchises.

Powell says that he believes in what DC Studios' James Gunn and Peter Safran are planning for the franchise, "I think it's going to be really, really good for that business. I'm a big fan of the movies."

This revelation shocked fans when Powell's name was initially rumored to join DC after the fact that he did appear in Chris Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises as a stockbroker who got his head smashed in by Bane.

However, he did say the potential hero he would want to see himself play in the future.

"I was always a Batman guy," Powell previously shared on GQ, "I would have a wild take on Batman. It definitely would not be like a Matt Reeves tone – it'd probably be closer to Keaton."

It remains to be seen if Powell will sport the Caped Crusader's suit and emulate the 'wild take' he had on Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego in the night, but it would be interesting to see him join Marvel or DC, either way.

Especially since his Anyone But You co-star, Sydney Sweeney, made her superhero debut in Sony's Madame Web as Julia Carpenter aka Spider-Woman.

Until then, his action/thriller project, Twisters, is out on digital platforms now for fans to watch.
