Avengers: Endgame Directors 'Joke' About All Trailer Footage Being Fake

If there's one thing we've learned about trailers, it's that not all of the footage will end up being in the movie. This has proven to be the case in a number of Marvel movies, including a couple of cool shots in Avengers: Infinity War. Well, The Russo Brothers are now trying to make us doubt the validity of the Avengers: Endgame trailers, joking that all of the footage shown thus far is fake.

Are they really joking though?

Speaking with Rotten Tomatoes, the directing duo joked that all of the footage we have seen in the trailers might not even appear in the final product. This is probably a joke since some of the scenes we saw were pretty intense and are, at the most, altered with CGI to not give away any spoilers. At the least, some of the shots we see are fake but not all of them.

Honestly, it would be quite the treat if all of the footage was fake. That would mean everyone who sees the movie will be going in with a fresh set of eyes and their expectations shattered. That being said, it looks like they spent way too much time on certain shots so we will definitely see a bunch of them in Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
