One of the constant things that we see throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the bond between Hawkeye and Black Widow. While we haven't seen them together in quite a long time, Hawkeye himself, Jeremy Renner, assured fans about their status while promoting Avengers: Endgame in China.

When asked how he sees his character's relationship with Scarlett Johansson's character, he had the perfect answer.

"That's very easy," he responded, looking around at the crowd and building excitement. "Forever," he concluded. This was naturally met with cheers by the crowd. Check out the cool moment below:

While Natasha and Clint's friendship hasn't been fleshed out as some fans hope, it has always been a bright spot in a world that can sometimes be dark, especially where we are now.

A lot of people felt that Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War could have used more Black Widow and Hawkeye interactions. Unfortunately, with so many characters featured in these films as they go bigger, giving everybody a time to shine was a major challenge.

However, in Avengers: Endgame, it looks like fans might be treated with more moments between the two. They might get more screen time with half the heroes snapped away. So far, we know that it will be Natasha who brings Clint, who is expected to adapt the name Ronin after losing his family during the snap, back to the fold.

Their fates are still very much unclear though. Being OG members of the Avengers, they are not safe. However, with a movie lined up for Black Widow, she might escape this ordeal alive.

The synopsis for Avengers: Endgame reads:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame hits the theaters April 26.
