The recently-aired episode 6 of X-Men '97 titled "Lifedeath - Part 2" saw Storm finally regaining her Omega-level powers.
Earlier in the season, Storm lost her powers after she was hit by the X-Cutioner's depowering weapon and left the team to explore her new life as a human.
She was approached by Forge and offered a chance to regain her powers back. However, as we've seen in the fourth episode, the attempt was unsuccessful and it ended with a face-off against The Adversary.

Storm Got Her Powers Back in X-Men '97 Episode 6
The episode dealt with the aftermath of the cliffhanger of the fourth episode where Storm was facing off against The Adversary.
Forge was severely wounded and infected by The Adversary's attack. As a result, Storm went to a nearby cave to find a cactus that would help heal the wounds.
Throughout Storm's search inside the cave, The Adversary kept on haunting her and it was revealed that she was simply a manifestation of the hero's fears and doubts as a result of her new life as a human.
Storm eventually realized that she had a mental block caused by the lie and temptation of human life and the attempt to regain her powers in the fourth episode was actually successful.
She was able to restore her Omega-level powers and embrace her mutant abilities again. She also sported a new costume with a classic black and yellow design.
However, Storm's celebration of regaining her powers was cut short as they saw news coverage of the attack on Genosha in last week's episode.
Naturally, fans are incredibly stoked to see Ororo get her powers back.
It is certainly exciting that Storm has her powers again and it is curious to see how it all plays out in the rest of the season as she reunites with the X-Men in the aftermath of the attack.
