Will Black Panther 2 Introduce Namor to the MCU?

We know that a Black Panther sequel is definitely coming, but we have no idea what the story could be about. With the first movie introducing us to what some consider the most empathetic villain in the MCU, a rumor is going around that Black Panther 2 could be giving us another antagonist who is not necessarily a comic villain.

As per MCU Cosmic's Jeremy Conrad, T'Challa could be going up against Namor, the King of Atlantis, in the sequel:

Take in mind, this is just a rumor for now, but this seems to be a great place to take the story. Not to mention a lot of people have been asking for Namor for a while.

If you follow any story about people from the sea, you'll always notice that they harbor a strong hatred for "surface dwellers." Seeing that Wakanda was also a hidden city, it would be interesting to see T'Challa come face to face with a kingdom that was once like his own. But I guess the difference is, Wakanda never really got bothered by the rest of the world. The world has pretty much devastated the ocean, so Atlanteans have a good reason to not mingle with humans.

What I'm hoping for though, is that the movie finds a way to link Namor to Captain America. In the comics, they famously fought together, so it would be cool if they found a way to link them, especially since Cap is officially retired. Maybe Namor could have disguised himself as a human and fought in the war with Cap? It could help justify why he hates humans in the first place. Then again, this is just from the top of my head.

For now, the Black Panther sequel is set for a release on May 6, 2022.
