Who Will End up Together in Twilight Out of Focus?
Mao Tsuchiya and Hisashi Otomo
Mao Tsuchiya and Hisashi Otomo are roommates who made some rules about living together in their dormitory.
Mao is aware that Hisashi is gay and has a boyfriend, so they both decide to agree on three things: Mao should keep Hisashi’s identity a secret, they should not get their hands on each other’s business, and they should not look at each other romantically.
All of these rules got broken in the end, though, as Mao fell in love with Hisashi after they both began working on a 30-minute movie project.
Hisashi, on the other hand, breaks up with his long-time boyfriend and quickly realizes how madly in love he is with Mao, who is always there to understand and care for him.
They became official, and the two have long been inseparable.
Giichi Ichikawa and Kikuchihara Jin
Ichikawa and Jin argue a lot in the manga series. They are constantly at each other’s throats because they can’t agree on the movie club’s projects, resulting in unnecessary commotion inside the club.
While Jin thinks Ichikawa is inflexible and too hard to please, Ichikawa sees Jin as an arrogant and overly confident club president, director, scriptwriter, and lead actor.
However, when the two of them accidentally kissed during one of their heated arguments, things drastically changed.
They began to see each other in a different light until they fell in love with one another.
They spend a lot of time together, but time keeps slipping away from them because Jin is about to graduate while Ichikawa is about to move out of the dorms due to some family troubles.
Regardless, Jin and Ichikawa love each other, and they spend as much time as they can together before everything changes.
Yoshino Shion and Rei Inaba
Yoshino Shion is a first-year member of the movie club who’s in search of a boyfriend. He’s not interested in movies and doesn’t plan on learning anything about them, but he’s serious about participating in club activities.
Because of this, Shion earned the ire of Rei Inaba, the club’s former vice president, who told him to quit the club since he would not be able to find a boyfriend.
Inaba may be rude, but he is an amazing person, and all the club members look up to him.
As the plot unfolds, Inaba eventually asks Shion if he wants to go out with him after seeing him bawling inside the music room.
Shion agrees to date Inaba upon seeing how good-looking he is without his cap and glasses.
Besides, Shion badly needed a boyfriend before Christmas to show off to his middle school friends, who pressured him to get a love life immediately.
Things didn’t go well at first due to their priorities and life in general, but in the end, Shion and Inaba stayed together.
