Who is Phyla in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?

Phyla is the platinum-haired girl from the High Evolutionary's experiments who is seen running round a human-sized hamster wheel and is not even getting tired at all.

In the post-credits scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, it is revealed that her name is Phyla-Vell.

Her abilities are revealed, as well, as she controls energy from her hands and blasts it against the enemies.

Similar? Well, just by having "Vell" on her name would ring a bell to many Marvel fans because of Mar-Vell.

While Phyla's origins were not much expounded in the MCU, in the comics, Phyla-Vell is the daughter of the original Captain Marvel, Mar-Vell.

Phyla-Vell is genetically engineered from the DNA of Mar-Vell and this is something that the MCU can use as to why she is with the High Evolutionary's experiments.

See Phyla's MCU debut in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, now in theaters worldwide.
