He is the type of person who gets bored easily; therefore, he is always looking for ways to be active and not waste time, even while zombies are after his flesh.
Akira, unlike most others, is an adventurer! He is also a risk-taker, which is a horrible combo in Zom 100.
In fact, he uses his Akiraiger suit to assist and protect others from zombies! Yikes!

Does Shizuka Become a Zombie?
Shizuka is still human in Zom 100, even after being bitten in the arm! She is one lucky girl, most likely because of her plot armor!
Fortunately, Tsuru was able to make a serum to halt the zombie virus from spreading throughout Shizuka's body thanks to Izuna's blood.
This occurred during the gang's foray into Umbriel Corporation's research facility.
Shizuka and Akira were discussing their dreams and the completion of their bucket list when a zombie sprang from the vehicle Shizuka was leaning against.
The zombie bit Shizuka's arm, and Akira was distraught. He rushed her inside the lab, and Tsuru did the unthinkable.
He injected Izuna's blood serum into Shizuka, and the effects were astounding. She was able to recuperate, and things returned to normal.
Shizuka is a highly calculated girl, so seeing her in distress was startling. She is a risk analyst, the polar opposite of the impetuous and reckless Akira.
When asked who will become a zombie between Akira and Shizuka, the answer will undoubtedly be Akira!
Does Kencho Become a Zombie?
No, Kencho remains a human in Zom 100! Kencho, like Akira, is a resourceful man, albeit one who came dangerously close to becoming a zombie after getting stuck in a hotel room full of zombies!
But thanks to Akira, Kencho survived! Since then, Kencho has become Akira’s confidant, and the two of them have been enjoying their lives free from their adult responsibilities. Kencho also became courageous enough to go for his dreams as a stand-up comedian.
Kencho's dream is beneficial to the gang in that he always serves as a distraction, allowing Akira and the others to avoid the zombie horde.
He always exposes his buttocks for the zombies to look at, which is one of the most hilarious parts of Zom 100!
During their stay in Gunma, Kencho had another close encounter with the zombies.
He went above and beyond to protect a youngster and her pet dog, even jumping into a pool of animal and human waste to survive a zombie attack!
If Akira dies, Kencho is the type of man who will die with him. So, if Akira turns into a zombie, Kencho would most likely suffer the same fate!

Does Beatrix Become a Zombie?
In Zom 100, Beatrix is still human. She refuses to die as a zombie because she wishes to learn more about Japanese culture and traditions.
She is a sucker for all things Japanese, and a zombie apocalypse will not deter her from enjoying all that the land of the rising sun has to offer to a foreigner like her.
However, this does not mean Beatrix has protection from the undead. She has had the same close encounters as the others, yet she always manages to escape unscathed!
Impressively, Beatrix protects herself with ancient Japanese gear and wields her samurai like a local!
She also knows how to use firearms, so it's not unexpected to see her survive in Zom 100 with no injuries.
