Will There Be The Rings of Power Season 3?
Prime Video confirmed the return of The Rings of Power for Season 3 in February 2025, with production officially wrapping up in October. However, the official release date has not yet been announced.
As Sauron moves forward with crafting the iconic One Ring, the show is expected to include a significant time jump in the upcoming episodes. The logline for the new season reads:
- “Jumping forward several years from the events of Season 2, Season 3 takes place at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to craft the One Ring that will give him the edge he needs to win the war and conquer all of Middle-earth at last.”
