The Rings of Power Season 3

The Rings of Power Season 3 trailer reveals several events are about to unfold, from the dangers posed by the One Ring to the characters’ struggles to resist Sauron and fight against his growing power.

These events will lead to massive battles, the emergence of terrifying creatures, and political conflicts as the Dark Lord declares his “path to victory” and announces his ambition to become “the conqueror, a sorcerer, a king.”

Of course, the Elves won’t let this happen without a fight as they prepare to face Sauron’s growing forces. However, High King Gil-galad (Benjamin Walker) doubts their chances of winning due to the enemy’s overwhelming numbers.

Gandalf (Daniel Weyman), meanwhile, offers a glimmer of hope, promising, “Together, I know we can turn the tide.”

The trailer then takes an intense turn as Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) is thrown from her horse during a battle, followed by a disturbing sequence in which Sauron takes the place of her husband, Celeborn (Jamie Campbell Bower).

The Dwarves are also caught up in the conflict, with Prince Durin IV (Owain Arthur) facing a difficult decision that could determine the fate of his realm.

The biggest reveal comes toward the end of The Rings of Power Season 3 trailer, when Sauron is finally shown wearing the One Ring in Mordor as the ominous words “Rule them all” play in the background.

The Rings of Power Season 3

The Rings of Power Season 3 features a five-year time jump following the fall of Eregion, focusing on the height of the war between the Elves and Sauron and the forging of the One Ring.

In the new season, Sauron takes on his legendary armored form as he seeks to forge the One Ring and bind the peoples of Middle-earth to his will.

The season also sees the rise of the Nazgûl, Sauron’s Ring-servants, who roam the land clad in black armor.

As the war intensifies, the Elves desperately try to hold the front lines, tensions rise among the Dwarves in Khazad-dûm, and Gandalf embraces his full powers of magic and persuasion in the eastern lands of Rhûn.

Meanwhile, Galadriel continues her journey toward becoming the wise Lady of Lothlórien while struggling with visions of Sauron.

You can read the new season’s synopsis below:

Season 3 finds Sauron transformed into his legendary armored form as he enslaves his ring-servants, the Nazgnagôl, and sows destruction across Middle-earth through deception and might.
