Fans are eager to keep up with Invincible's story before season 3 starts streaming on Prime, and what better way to do that than to read the original source? Here's where to start reading Invincible after season 2's events.
CONTENT SPOILERS: This article contains spoilers for theĀ InvincibleĀ series and comic books, so proceed with caution.
How Mark Grayson Ended Invincible Season 2
As much as Mark Grayson would prefer to keep things clean with no sign of blood, Invincible season 2 part 2 ended quite the opposite of how he anticipated.
After leaving a seemingly dead Angstrom Levy to die on the stranded island, Mark tries to find a way how he could escape this wasteland and return to his original timeline.
Thankfully, the Guardians of the Globe from the future find him, as they had predicted from their end.
Mark returns to his timeline and dimension and admits to his mother that he can no longer take college, he backs out of admitting his true feelings towards Atom Eve, a new villain is potentially looming to cross paths with Invincible, and Omni-Man tells Allen the Alien he misses his wife.
Where this leaves us will be answered when season 3 releases. However, if you're looking to catch up with the storyline, then here's where season 2 ends in the comics.

Where Does Season 2's Cliffhanger End in the Comics?
To start Invincible Comics right after the events of season 2 part 2, your safest bet is Issue #35, since Issue #34 is where the future Guardians of the Globe saved Mark from the alternate dimension.
However, there are also two more alternatives: Issues #49 and #51.
Issue #49 features events that have yet to be adapted into the animated series, but this would require more context from the previous issues in the comic books.
On the other hand, issue #51 is when Invincible's new blue-and-black superhero suit makes its debut, which has long been teased throughout season 2 of the Prime series.
This part also includes his brother, Oliver, slowly showing the powers he inherited from their father, Omni-Man, which has yet to be told in the series, as well.
It is worth mentioning that even though the comics are the basis for the animated series, Invincible season 3 may not be going on the same scripted route. Still, the idea and outcome will likely be similar.
Where To Read Invincible Comics
The suggested issues to kickstart Invincible season 3 ahead of its release belong in Invincible Compendium Vol. 2 (Issues #48-96), Invincible Vol. 8: My Favorite Martian (#36-41), Invincible Vol. 10-11 (#48-59).
Your best option is to start looking through your Local Comic Shop near you, which can be searched in Comic Shop Locator to find it.
However, if you're looking into purchasing your own brand-new Invincible comic, all volumes are available on Amazon for physical copies or be bought as e-books for $269.35.
Meanwhile, if you're simply a fan looking to start off the entirety of Invincible, the full first issue of its comic book (which happened in season 1 episode 1) is available to read for free on Image Comics, as long as you're 18 years old.
