With Rudeus finally home with his family, fans could start reading the Mushoku Tensei light novel after the anime to find out what happens next to the Greyrat family.

Their adventures and day-to-day life in the isekai world are far from over and there's so much exciting content for fans to consume!

Where to Read the Mushoku Tensei Light Novel after the Anime

The second cour of the second season of Mushoku Tensei covered the events that took place in light novel volume 12, The Labyrinth Arc, where Rudeus and Elinalise meet with Paul Greyrat and his allies to rescue Zenith from the Teleporter Labyrinth.

While Rudeus and company were successful in rescuing Zenith and Roxy, Paul Greyrat died after he saved Rudeus from the Hydra. His death took a huge toll on Rudeus, but Roxy was there to keep him company.

If you want to start reading where Mushoku Tensei season 2 left off, we recommend starting at volume 13, the Everyday Life Arc.

It's a new start for Rudeus and his family as he becomes a father to Lucie (Lucy) Greyrat. There is plenty of source material left for Mushoku Tensei fans in the light novel, which is far ahead of both the anime and manga adaptations.

Of course, as most fans of the isekai series will point out, it's ideal to start reading the light novels from the beginning to ensure a good understanding of all plot elements and get the most out of the series.

Unfortunately, there's no place online where fans can read the Mushoku Tensei light novel for free.

Fans will have to purchase the light novels in print and digital editions through the official website of Seven Seas Entertainment.

Where to Read the Mushoku Tensei Manga after the Anime

There isn't a point in reading the Mushoku Tensei manga from anywhere other than the beginning, as season 2 has caught up with it, so there isn't new material to explore.

Some fans follow new chapters as they come, but if you're looking for a lengthier reading experience, going back to chapter 1 would be best.

Currently, there are under 100 manga chapters. Compared to the light novel, which counts over 20 volumes, the manga isn't too far into the story yet.

Moreover, fans of Mushoku Tensei feel that the manga isn't the best adaptation of the light novel material.

If you're looking for a long-term read that will keep you busy and give you the ultimate conclusion, reading the light novel is your best bet.
