The highly-anticipated anime series My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's has finally revealed its release window heading to its arrival later this year.
The popular isekai fantasy light novel series is finally getting an anime adaptation after years of anticipation from fans. TMS Entertainment and Sunrise are the production studios behind the project.
My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s Announces October 2025 Release
TMS Entertainment and Sunrise revealed that the anime series adaptation of My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's is set to release this October 2025.
There are no details yet regarding the local Japanese broadcast network where it will air or its streaming platform in the international markets.
The teaser trailer was also released which gave fans their first glimpse at what to expect in the anime series including the characters and the animation style.
It was also revealed that Takeo Otsuka is set to voice Akira Oda while Saku Mizono is voicing Amelia Rosequartz.
"I thought at first that this work might have some pop content, given its title, but that was not all. I am sure that if you watch the first episode, you will be excited to see how the story unfolds," Otsuka said of his involvement.
"The story composition of the anime is also very nice, so whether you are familiar with the original work or the manga version, or if you are new to the series, we hope you will enjoy the broadcast, I hope you are looking forward to the broadcast of the anime. Nobuyoshi Habara, best known for working on the Fafner series, serves as the director of the anime. Sunrise is in charge of animation production.
