- Quick Answer: Marvel's official VisionQuest trailer teases Ultron's return, Tommy Maximoff, and a deadly conclusion to the WandaVision trilogy debuting October 14 on Disney+.
Marvel Entertainment has released another trailer for its upcoming series, VisionQuest, teasing a deadly finale to the WandaVision trilogy.
Following WandaVision and Agatha All Along, the third installment is expected to wrap up several storylines that started back in 2021, with action-packed scenes and the return of the ultimate MCU villain, Ultron (James Spader). So, what does the VisionQuest trailer reveal?
What to Expect From VisionQuest?

There are several things fans can expect from VisionQuest based on its trailer. It doesn’t just give a glimpse of the deadly antagonists in its over-two-minute runtime; it also gives viewers a fresh look at Tommy Maximoff (Ruaridh Mollica), aka Speed, whose powers seem to be the same as those of his uncle, Pietro (Evan Peters).
It also picks up the story threads that started in WandaVision and continued in Agatha All Along.
But amid the seriousness of the fight, the show still adds a comedic touch when Vision (Paul Bettany) says he’s there “for the trap” at the start of the trailer, quickly triggering a gunfight.
So, in addition to meeting Tommy and rediscovering himself, Vision shows just how deadly the series can be as it wraps up the MCU series trilogy.
This even includes a hint that Ultron continues his desire to end humanity and carry out his mission once again.
The trailer also seems to tease the appearance of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) after revealing her and Vision’s history, with Tommy referencing his mum and Vision himself staring at a wood-carved heart with their initials, “W+V,” inside it.
Wanda’s body double also seems to appear, though it remains to be seen if it is really the Scarlet Witch or Jocasta (T'Nia Miller), as a red-hooded figure with glowing eyes is seen.
Jocasta finally makes her MCU debut in VisionQuest. She is known as the bride of Ultron, and by the looks of it, this antagonist couple will be the opposite of Wanda and Vision, wanting to destroy the world.
What Is VisionQuest About?

Created by Terry Matalas, VisionQuest follows the return of the rebuilt White Vision after he flew away at the end of WandaVision.
While all of his memories have been restored, Vision still feels the lack of his human virtues. To hide from people who want to use him as a weapon, he starts navigating his own mind by consulting embedded artificial intelligence programs and avatars, including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and Ultron.
But as a bounty is placed on his head, ending his quiet and peaceful life, he ends up on the run with Tommy, a mysterious teenager who may be his reincarnated son with Wanda.
As Vision must resist the dangerous influence of Ultron, he also has to avoid the mercenary Paladin.
VisionQuest premieres on October 14 on Disney+.
