Venom 3 will be Eddie Brock's last dance with the alien symbiote in the Sony movie series launched in 2018.
In an interview with Deadline, Sony chairman Tom Rothman discussed a few IPs under their studios, where he confirmed that “The third and last Venom is going to be huge.”
The threequel follows the events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, where journalist Brock is now a fugitive yet remains bonded with Venom. Tom Hardy returns to complete his three-picture deal, and Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Clark Backo are cast in undisclosed roles.
Venom: The Last Dance hits theaters in October 2024.

What’s next for the symbiote in the Marvel movies?
Even though Venom’s movie series ends with The Last Dance, fans will be relieved to remember that the future of the symbiote on the big screen was already set up three years ago.
In Spider-Man: No Way Home, a corrupted spell by Doctor Strange pulls in various villains from other universes before the sorcerer can contain it.
Between the first spell and Green Goblin’s attempt to unleash it in its containment, Eddie Brock and Venom are also transported to the MCU, as shown in a mid-credits scene in Let There Be Carnage. A piece of the symbiote was left before the two were returned to their universe.
With these crossovers, Venom's official introduction into the MCU is no longer a matter of if but when, with rumours leaning towards a meaningful appearance in the upcoming Spider-Man 4.
Other reports claim that Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige is open to having Venom in the superhero ensemble film Secret Wars, similar to how Spider-Man first bonds with the symbiote in the comic book series of the same name.
