When Riot Games released the first Glitchpop weapon skin bundle in Valorant last August, fans praised the futuristic cyberpunk style of the weapon skin designs but the bundle was criticized for the lack of better weapons such as the Vandal, Phantom, and Operator. However, that's about to change.
Riot has revealed the new Glitchpop Collection in an interview with HITSCAN, and it will include new weapon skins for the Classic, Vandal, Phantom, and Operator, as well as a new melee ax weapon. The collection also comes with a new gun buddy and spray paint.
The first Glitchpop skins included the Frenzy, Judge, Odin, Bulldog, and a melee knife. While they look awesome, most players prefer to use Vandal or Phantom over a Bulldog. Not a lot of players use the Odin as well.
"If you're a collector, you would hope that everything looks uniform," said Preeti Khanolkar, producer of skins. "So we very intentionally followed the same design."
It appears that the bundle is in the Exclusive Edition skin tier, and the collection will cost 8,700 VP, or 2,175 per gun and 4,350 for the melee weapon.
