Turning Point USA, a nonprofit organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk, announced a show to counter Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl Halftime performance.
Scheduled for February 8, 2026, the same day as the NFL’s championship game, the event is part of the group’s plan to oppose the league’s choice of Bad Bunny.
What is Turning Point USA’s Halftime Show About?
After the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation announced that Bad Bunny would headline the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show, Turning Point USA revealed its plan to hold its own event, The All American Halftime Show, on X.
“It’s true — Turning Point USA is thrilled to announce The All American Halftime Show,” the announcement read. “Performers and event details coming soon. 2.8.2026.”
In the accompanying poster, the organization described the event as a celebration of “faith, family, & freedom.”
The post also included the event’s official website, where more information and musical artists will be announced in the future.
A form is displayed for interested attendees to fill out in order to receive the latest updates. In addition to personal information, it also asks which music genres fans want to be featured, offering options such as “anything in English,” Americana, classic rock, country, hip-hop, pop, and worship.
There’s also a donation button where supporters can pledge any amount, from as little as $25 to as much as $100,000 or more. Donations can be made either as a one-time contribution or on a monthly basis.
“One night. One message. One shot to show the world what America still stands for,” the donation link reads. “Faith. Family. Freedom. And... Football. This is the line in the sand. No retreat. No apologies. Not one inch more.”
It also promises not to feature any “woke” content, but instead focus on “truth, freedom, and America.”
“Let’s make Charlie proud — by winning the American Culture War on the biggest stage yet,” it continued. “Fuel the fight. Fund the show. Let’s make this LOUD.”
What is the Controversy Surrounding Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show?

The choice of Bad Bunny as the headliner for the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show has drawn strong reactions from far-right commentators.
In addition to MAGA influencers and conservative social media accounts denouncing the NFL’s decision, even US President Donald Trump had something to say about it.
“I’ve never heard of him,” he said (via Entertainment Weekly). “I don’t know who he is… I don’t know why they’re doing it. It’s crazy. And then they blame it on some promoter they hired to pick the entertainment — I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”
Bad Bunny has increasingly become a political talking point after he skipped performing in the continental US over concerns that ICE might raid his concerts.
“I think I’ll do just one date in the United States,” he posted on X.
Despite that, there’s no denying that he’s now one of the biggest musical artists in the world. It also isn’t the first time the NFL has been involved in politics or sparked controversy over its halftime show performances.
From Kendrick Lamar to Beyoncé, Shakira, and Jennifer Lopez, it seems halftime shows will never be complete without a little controversy and complaint.
