Tom Holland Now Filming The Russo Brother’s New Movie

Spider-Man: Far From Home star Tom Holland might be pretty active on social media but it looks like the British actor is taking a break from Instagram now that he's working on Joe and Anthony Russo's newest project.

Taking to Instagram to share a photo of himself together with his doggo, Holland announced that he has decided to take a short break from social media so that he can focus on his latest movie with the Russos, Cherry. The movie might not be a Marvel project, but it seems like the Russos want to work together with Holland again for their new movie.

"My Pooch and Me. Off now to go begin my latest venture with the @therussobrothers ✌? I'm going to be taking a short break from Instagram, so see you all in the not so distant future ❤️," Holland wrote in his post.

Marketing for Cherry may have yet to begin, but the description of the film on IMDb says that the film follows the story of "an army medic suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder" who ends up becoming a "serial bank robber after an addiction to drugs puts him in debt."

Right now Holland's the only star on the cast list for Cherry, so it's likely that the Spider-Man star is taking the lead in the movie. We may see more Avengers: Endgame stars added into the list as production goes on.

Cherry is being written by Parenthood and The Path screenwriter Jessica Goldberg. The film is expected to premiere sometime in 2020, a year before Spider-Man 3 releases on July 16, 2021.
