The Witcher fans are surely in for a treat because Dark Horse Comics will be bringing back Geralt of Rivia to its pages for cool new adventures.
Teaming up with CD Projekt Red, Dark Horse Comics will be releasing a new series that is set in the world of popular game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Written by Bartosz Sztybor and art by Amad Mir, the series is titled The Witcher: Fading Memories. You can check out the first issue cover made by Evan Cagle below.
Threats from monsters are seemingly on the low and the Witchers are having a hard time without continual work. However, when all hope seems lost, Geralt receives a request from the town of Towitz. This means that the Witcher could finally go back and do the usual, but something seems off about the town.
Since Geralt is basically desperate about getting a request, it looks like fans will get to see a whole new adventure to uncover what's going on in the town of Towitz, which is actually a place where children are getting kidnapped by Foglets. Although something doesn't feel right, Geralt will seemingly take the risk.
Here's the official description for Fading Memories (via ComicBook.com):
"Geralt has become impoverished and dejected since monster threats have seemingly vanished. Times have always been hard for Witchers—but without continual work, his situation has worsened. As Geralt explores new possibilities for his life path, he receives a request from the Mayor of Towitz, a small town where children are being kidnapped by Foglets…but something feels off about this new threat."
The Witcher: Fading Memories #1 hits stores on June 17th.
