It doesn't matter whether The Stranger had only made his debut in the galaxy far, far away through The Acolyte, the prequel series spoke for itself when it showcased the origin story of the Sith and won fans' hearts.
Despite the stance and character Qimir the Stranger introduced himself to be, Manny Jacinto has a hilarious suggestion on who he could team up with in Star Wars.
Who Does Manny Jacinto Want the Stranger to Team Up With in Star Wars?
If there's anything Star Wars fans expected most from the Stranger, it's to team up with any other major villains from the franchise roster. However, Manny Jacinto had a different idea in mind.
The Good Place star wasn't afraid to say it: he knew Qimir needed assistance, but which iconic Star Wars character ought to fit the bill? Jacinto's answer might surprise you.
During the Fan Expo, Jacinto was asked to draw his own conclusion as to who the Stranger would most likely work best with in a buddy cop team-up. The question had one rule: it couldn't be Osha, aka the powerful evil twin Sith Lord trained in the end.

"Because the second iteration of Qimir, the Stranger, he's very serious," Jacinto explained, "I would need levity. So the only person I can think of is Jar Jar... The Adventures of Jar Jar and the Stranger."
What's the harm in exploring the odd couple trope more in Star Wars? Can you even imagine how much chaos Qimir would have to clean up with Jar Jar on his side?
How Would the Stranger's Dynamics Look Like with Jar Jar Binks in the Picture?

It's admittedly quite difficult to imagine the cunning and calculative Qimir could ever find himself relying on the accident-prone diplomat Jar Jar inside the galaxy far, far away.
The same could be said about the Mandalorian protecting baby Grogu, though.
Comically, Qimir's stoic character and Jar Jar's chaotic optimism are one of the most iconic comedy tropes that would work well in a buddy team cops show, should that ever happen in the future.
For now, there is no season 2 of The Acolyte, and it remains a question whether or not Disney could ever pick it back up, especially for fans who have tirelessly proved time and time again that the show deserved more praise and recognition.
Meanwhile, The Acolyte episodes are streaming on Disney+.
