The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 Directors Revealed

One of the biggest series to arrive this year is Amazon Prime Video's take on J.R.R. Tolkien's classic and with The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 under development, three directors who'll be working on the episodes of the second installment have been revealed.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power brought everyone to the Second Age of Middle Earth based on the famous classic of J.R.R. Tolkien and it easily became one of the biggest shows of the year released by Amazon Prime Video, leaving everyone wanting for more getting into Season 2.

While it may take some time to see The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 on screen, three directors have been named to work on the second installment of the series with Charlotte Brändström, Sanaa Hamri, and Louise Hooper, and each of them will be directing multiple episodes.

Charlotte Brändström, who directed episodes six and seven of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Udûn and The Eye, will be helming four episodes for Season 2 while Sanaa Hamri and Louise Hooper will both be directing two episodes each.

Brändström is known for directing TV shows like The Witcher, The Outsider, Jupiter's Legacy, and The Man in the High Castle. Hamri previously directed The Wheel of Time Season 2, and other directing credits include Desperate Housewives, Shameless, and Glee. Hooper holds directing credits for The Sandman, The Witcher, and Treason.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 will be having eight episodes, just like Season 1, and the sophomore outing of the series is already in production but it may take some time before arriving on screen.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 has no release date yet. All the episodes of Season 1 are now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
