Following the news that The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power topped the charts as revealed by its Nielsen ratings with 1.3 billion minutes viewed for its premiere week, Season 2 is officially underway as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 will be making a jump across the globe for its filming location as it will be at the Bray Studios just outside London when the first season filmed in New Zealand.
Aside from the news that Season 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is starting its production, it is also confirmed that a new character will be joining the cast with one of the elves best known for being the oldest and the wisest, Círdan.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is about to enter its penultimate episode over the weekend as the Second Age sees the return of darkness within Middle-earth. The series is yet to answer a lot of things.

Galadriel and Halbrand managed to capture Waldreg after he was given instructions by Adar and they interrogated him into answering his origins being from the Elves corrupted by Morgoth, the Moriondor or Uruks. Halbrand became the King of the Southlands.
