It's a great time to be a Star Wars fan right now. Not only is Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker showing next month but Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam later this week. If that wasn't enough to please the geek side, those that have Disney+ will be ecstatic to know that the first seven Star Wars movies will be available on the service, some of which will be in 4K HDR.
The Verge was able to confirm that everything from A New Hope to The Force Awakens will be available; even Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is available for viewing. The only movies not yet available in this streaming service are Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Solo: A Star Wars Story. It is more than likely that the two will eventually become available since they want to entice people to get this service later on.
Being able to watch classic Star Wars movies in such a high resolution is going to please many and will make owning the service a must for those that want to have their yearly marathons of the franchise. We're not sure why anyone would want to watch garbage like The Phantom Menace again but those same people wonder why I like The Last Jedi, so we're even.
Disney+ should be available now. It's not available in every country yet but that should change in the near future.
