While everyone has lost their minds over the misplaced Starbucks cup in the last episode of Game of Thrones, there's actually a lot more to talk about the episode from Sansa instantly spreading Jon's secret to Varys wanting to change teams. After the Battle of Winterfell, a lot of disappointment is finally starting to get to the fans—especially now that there are only two episodes left. Sure the spectacle has been turned up to eleven, but a lot feel that the show has lost its fantastic character development and intrigue that made it so popular in the first place.
Hopefully David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have something better in mind for the final two episodes. At this point, the main threat of the Night King has been used as a plot device to simply just give Cersei a fighting chance. Plus it's getting hard to root for characters now, especially with Daenerys starting to unravel because of everything that she's losing.
If anything Brienne is still a great character, and now everyone wants a spinoff series with Ghost and Tormund. What are the odds we're also going to have Arya Stark be the one to take out Cersei what with her Faceless Men tactics.
