takt op. Destiny Episode 3 introduces the first battle of Takt and Destiny as a Conductor and Musicart. We find out about Cosette's fate and how it affects Takt, Anna, and herself. We also meet two new characters — Lenny and Titan, another Conductor and Musicart.
takt op. Destiny is a collaboration between MAPPA and Madhouse, set in a world without music because of monsters called D2. The ones who can fight them off are a duo of a Conductor and a Musicart — fighters born out of a score of classical music.

Takt Op. Destiny Episode 3 Recap
The episode picks up where the previous episode left off, during the attack at the Symphonica Festival. Takt and Destiny manage to fight off a number of D2 — but eventually, both of them pass out. A new duo arrives at the scene, saving both of them. When Takt wakes up, Anna tells him he's been asleep for almost a day. He's also confused by Cosette's change in behavior, who is now called Destiny. Anna says that Lenny, the guy who saved them, will explain everything.
Lenny says that he's also a Conductor, and his Musicart is named Titan. He explains the basics behind Conductors and Musicarts and how they came to be. What happened to Takt and Destiny is an entirely different case because Musicarts are created at the Symphonica research facility. However, Destiny emerged out of nowhere, skipping the development process. Lenny also mentions that Cosette no longer exists, for those memories are gone now. Plus, her power output levels are somewhat defective due to the odd nature of her awakening. Now we know why they aim to go to New York — to get her fixed at the Symphonica headquarters.
While this was happening, Destiny suddenly flies off after detecting D2s. She starts attacking them, but it's affecting Takt. Lenny and Titan follow shortly. After seeing Takt in pain, Lenny thinks that Destiny might be devouring Takt's life force since she's an irregular. Titan and Lenny start eliminating the rest of the D2s. As Titan was about to attack a D2, Destiny interferes, distracting Titan. The D2 runs towards Takt's house, almost getting to Anna. Destiny asks permission from Takt to blow up the house to defeat the D2.
Takt's house is obliterated, but he's okay with it since he says there's nothing left for him there now. Lenny has a hunch that the reemergence of the D2s is planned. Anna, Destiny, and Takt begin their journey to New York. Their first destination is Las Vegas, with Lenny and Titan accompanying them.
