Stephen King Disses Game Of Thrones Fans Who Hate Season 8

Anyone who has seen the previous five episodes of Game of Thrones Season 8 undoubtedly has some strong opinions about how the series is ending. However, it looks like Stephen King is loving the final season and is dissing anyone who feels otherwise.

The IT author took to Twitter to express how he feels about Game of Thrones Season 8. Interestingly, King also offered an explanation as to why fans are unhappy with what's happening in the HBO show's final season. Take a look at his tweet below.

"I've loved this last season of GoT, including Dani going bugs--t all over King's Landing. There's been a lot of negativity about the windup, but I think it's just because people don't want ANY ending. But you know what they say: All good things..." King wrote.

Although King might be partly right about fans not wanting the series to end just yet, the other reason why people are hating Season 8 has a lot to do with Daenerys Targaryen burning down an entire city. Some have pointed out that the rash decision was completely out of character. The reaction to this particular event has been so great that people are already signing a petition begging HBO to remake the entire final season.

King certainly has some ideas of his own when it comes to Game of Thrones. The author has previously tweeted out his prediction on who will end up on the Iron Throne and it's a conclusion that we wouldn't be surprised if George R.R. Martin himself actually considers.

Game of Thrones Season 8 will conclude on May 19.
