There's a good reason why it's called Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The animated series has been showing us just what happened during the three-year war where the Galactic Republic faced off against the Separatists and their battle droid army. However, the latest episode of the final season revealed a side of the fight that is rarely explored. On the Wings of Keeradaks has pit mere mortals against machines and showed us the spoils of the war.
In the previous episode, Captain Rex's hunch was finally confirmed: Echo is still alive and is being used as a living computer by the Separatists. Although they were able to get Echo out of Wat Tambor's base, there's still a lot of problems to deal with in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 3. Rex, Anakin Skywalker, and the Bad Batch are cornered and will be needing the help of the Poletecs.
It's not easy trying to convince a tribe that they once called "primitive" to join the fight. Anakin is the first to try but fails. However, Rex then points out Echo as an example of what could happen to the Poletecs once the Separatists need more people on their side. Needless to say, it worked but it also leads to a higher body count.
The third episode of the final season is essentially a fight between man and machine and as expected, there are casualties in the war. Sadly, the Poletecs are still no match to the droids but they managed to help Rex, Anakin, and the Bad Batch find their way out. The action does not disappoint and it looks like we'll be seeing more of Echo in the next few episodes.
The latest episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 is currently streaming on Disney+.
