Disney Plus made the announcement of the release of the various specials on their social media platforms on what to expect on their second anniversary as a streaming platform. Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett Special would be included in the line-up to take the spotlight after the previous Star Wars shows were released on Disney Plus, The Mandalorian, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett Special is not the only thing coming on Disney Plus Day. There would also be Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Disney's Jungle Cruise, Disney and Pixar's Ciao Alberto, Disney's Olaf Presents, Home Sweet Home Alone, All-New One-Shot from The Simpsons, the second season's first five episodes of The World According to Jeff Goldblum from National Geographic, a special look from Star Wars and Marvel and many more.
