Star Wars fans might not have that much to look forward to with the lockdown limiting movement outside of the home, but it looks like they do have a reason to celebrate, because it looks like today's the anniversary of the beginning of production of Star Wars: A New Hope.
Taking to Twitter, Star Wars legend Mark Hamill decided to celebrate the anniversary of his first day shooting on a Star Wars movie. Sharing a tweet of a production photo on the social media platform, the actor regaled his followers with details about principal photography on A New Hope.
"1st day was in Tunisia, North Africa. Only cast there was Alec Guinness, Kenny Baker & Tony Daniels. Wouldn't meet Carrison & Harrie until we returned to UK. My 1st shot was me emerging from my home towards the Jawa droid sale-I had high hopes it would be a good movie. #TrueStory," Hamill revealed in his tweet.

It's definitely interesting to know details about the production behind Episode IV. We can only imagine what it was like for Hamill to shoot his very first Star Wars movie.
Now that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker's culminated the entire Skywalker saga, we don't really expect Hamill to return to the Star Wars film franchise – that is unless there's a need for Luke Skywalker's Force Ghost.
Right now we don't really know where Lucasfilm is taking the Star Wars franchise, but we hope that the next trilogy is going to be even better than what Disney started off with.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is available on Digital HD.
