Luke Skywalker may have been killed off in the Skywalker Saga but he is still alive and well in the comic books. Interestingly, the next issue of the Star Wars comic book will be giving Luke a completely new and exciting weapon: a yellow lightsaber.
The latest issue of the ongoing Star Wars comics will be written by Charles Soule and illustrated by Jesus Saiz. Interestingly, the cover art by R.B. Silva actually shows Luke wielding a lightsaber with a yellow blade similar to Rey's new weapon in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Check it out below.
Star Wars #6 is set to explore what happened to Luke after he lost his father's lightsaber during his fight with Darth Vader on Cloud City. But how did he come across this new weapon? The truth will be revealed in September.
