Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley Says Fans Will Be ‘Very Satisfied’ By Episode IX

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker might be one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, but there's also been an echo of concern for the upcoming movie.

Sure, most Star Wars fans might be more than excited to see the third and final sequel trilogy movie to make it to the big screen later this year, but others are a bit worried that the film might not end up being as great as it should be.

The Rise of Skywalker star Daisy Ridley, however, is confident that viewers are going to be wowed by the upcoming film.

Speaking in an interview with People's Couch Surfing, Ridley found herself touching on the topic of Episode IX. During her discussion with the publication, the British actress couldn't help but admit her feelings regarding the film, saying that The Rise of Skywalker would definitely be a hit among Star Wars fans.

When asked how fans might respond to the film on a scale of 1 to 10, Ridley said that she thinks they'd say "very satisfied."

"Everything we were doing felt, in the moment, very good."

This seems reassuring – though we're pretty sure that no star in their right minds would turn against their own film project.

There's a lot riding on The Rise of Skywalker right now. Not only is the film expected to close Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy, but it's also expected to culminate the Skywalker Saga. After The Rise of Skywalker premieres, Lucasfilm is going to move on to other stories in the franchise.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to premiere on December 20, 2019.
