Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is officially an Oscar-winning movie and it seemed like all was right in the world (until Green Book won Best Picture at least). Still, fans shouldn't let that - and the Oscars abruptly cutting the speech of the animated film's directors - dissuade them from celebrating how good this movie is and picking up the Blu-Ray when it comes out next week.
Want a better to celebrate? Check out this sick fan-made anime opening for the film, which is really fun.
If fans have anything to nitpick it's that a.) Peni Parker is barely used in the intro even though she's Japanese and b.) the fan uses Silhouette, which was the awesome intro song to Naruto: Shippuden. Why is that a negative? Because so many fans used this song for their fan-made anime openings, including Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War.
nitpicking aside, this is a really nice anime opening. Despite the complaint of this user using Silhouette once again, the editing perfectly matches the music and makes fans miss the movie. Also, Silhouette is still a great piece of J-rock so any excuse to listen to that song is a good one.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is now available on digital outlets. The Blu-Ray comes out next week, on March 19.
